A Week In Nudes

It's apparent that I love a good nude. Well, what can I say when 90% of my lipstick drawer is filled with them, I just adore them.
Although no two in my collection are the exact same, we all know the drill when it comes to lipsticks, how they all may be a nearly identical in colour, but they always have a slight difference to them. You know what I mean?

Too Faced Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick in Cool Girl £19.00
This liquid lipstick dries down pretty quickly but it allows you time to correct any dodgy application which may have occurred in the process. Although it is matte it is relatively comfortable on the lips and it doesn't transfer which is ideal for lasting throughout the whole of the day. When swatched this lipstick is a slightly cool toned nude, however, once on the lips it comes off as a caramel brown.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Cannes £6.00
If you know me you'll know that I am the probably the last person in the world to try these lip creams. They have a lovely creamy yet mousy formula which is easy to apply and it dries down to a matte finish on my lips. Even though it was matte it feels ever so slightly drying on the lips despite the creamy formula. It lastest for a couple of hours as once I ate and drank it had virtually disappeared but I do adore the colour for an everyday wear so it's worth it.

Kylie Cosmetics Dolce K Lip Kit $29.00
I feel like everyone's opinions on these liquid lipsticks are 50/50 but I personally really like them. Dolce K is a beautiful cool toned brown, looks amazing paired with a bold winged liner. However, I do find that although it isn't drying on the lips it doesn't gravitate and accentuate any cracks or dry patches that I have on my lips so my lips have to be in good condition to wear this lipstick. The best thing about her liquid lipsticks is that they smell incredible, they smell really sweet which I love!
Rimmel London Kate Moss Lipstick in 105-Review
As you may already know this lipstick is in my project pan, hence why I find myself using it at every chance I get. But, it is a lovely lipstick for those days when you don't want your lips to be suffocated to death. It's extremely easy to apply and re-apply throughout the day, after eating and drinking, whilst adding a nude sheen to the lips.

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita £17.00
I've got a couple of these liquid lipsticks by Kat Von D and this is by far my favourite shade that I've got, the other one I have is double dare that is a more reddy brown shade. Lolita is a gorgeous brown with the slightest mauve undertone, I adore the shade. The only issue I have with this lipstick is that I notice it never fully dries on the lips, it has that tacky feel to it, when you press your lips together, which is transferable.

MAC Satin Lipstick in Twig-Review £16.50
One of my favourite MAC lipsticks, how could I not wear it during the week? This lipstick is really creamy on the lips, meaning it's comfortable and not drying. It's one of the more wearable ones out of the lot which makes it ideal for everyday wear.

NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Soft Spoken-Review £7.00
A year ago this was the shade you craved to have in your collection, everyone adored and loved it. It's another one of those shades that works wonderfully in conjunction with every eye look due to its easy wearing nude colour. It stays on the lips for around five hours, depending on eating and drinking, as this will make it go patchy. As it is a creamy lipstick, it's very smooth and hydrating on the lips as well as having the ability to dry down semi-matte which I really like.

Honestly, who doesn't love a nude? They pair perfectly with every make up and outfit look going, they are a staple colour to own. What's your favourite nude lipstick? Do you own any of these?  Thanks for reading, you can find me here:
