Get Ready With Me - Concert Edition

At the end of November I went to go see Anne Marie in concert and my gosh was she incredible!! Not only was she amazing, but I was pretty impressed by the makeup that I did as well, which is why today I'm going through my makeup that I wore for the event.
Get Ready With Me - Concert Edition
To start off my base I went in with Benefit's Porefessional Primer on my nose, chin and cheek areas as that's where I get oily quickly, this also made my pores smooth ready for my foundation to go on top of. My foundation of choice was, of course, my trusty Makeup Revolution Fast Base Foundation Stick in the shade F1 which is the lightest. I'm actually so close to finishing this up which is crazy as it normally takes me ages to finish foundations. I also went in with a little bit of Maybelline's Fit Me Concealer followed by Natural Collection's Powder to set everything in place.

Of course, I then reached for my Too Faced Sweet Peach Glow Palette because do I ever do my makeup without it? I bronzed and blushed my face up with it then I highlighted with Pixi X Aspynovard Glow-y Powder in London Lustre on the tops of my cheekbones and on the end of my nose to add a bit of light and glow to my face.

Baring in mind that I never wear eyeshadow, I mean it's a rare occasion kind of thing, I went all out on my eyes. I first used my Technic Mega Mattes Eyeshadow Palette and took this cool grey toned brown shade all over the lid as well as a tiny bit of the terracotta shade in my crease to add some dimension. Technic's Metalix Eyeshadow Cream in Champagne For Everybody was then applied to the whole lid and blended out with the warm shade from the palette. I then coated a few layers of Maybelline Great Lash Mascara onto my lashes and the eye look was complete. I topped off my lips with Gerard Cosmetics Lipstick in Mystic Moon.

The product that made this whole makeup look come to life were the coloured contacts that I wore. Out of all the colours in the Comfi Colors 1 Day Lenses Rainbow Pack* I chose Sweet Hazel as these would match the brown shade in my jumpsuit that I was wearing. Plus, knowing I have naturally greeny hazel coloured eyes I knew the brown contacts wouldn't be too much of a drastic change, they looked really natural. The contacts were really comfortable on the eye throughout the whole event, the only hard part I found was putting them in and taking them out again. However, the pack does come with instructions, a guide and all the help you'll need in regards to general information about the contacts, application and removal tips.
Honestly, before the concert, I had never worn coloured contacts so it was great to have the rainbow pack to be able to pick and choose the colour I wanted to wear on the day. If you are new to contact lenses, then this pack is ideal! You can also get 10% off if you order from www.feelgoodcontacts.com with the code CPICKS10. Below is a picture of the other colours you get in the pack; just look at how beautiful those blue contacts are!
