Empties #24

Nowadays, it takes me a ridiculously long time to finish up products because my collection is quite small so I only really concentrate on one product at a time instead of switching it up. It's a good job I write my thoughts down once I finish a product because it is months before I actually finish a full basket and sit down to write this post.
Empties #24

Makeup:
Maybelline Fit Me Matte+Poreless Foundation
My sister gave this to me as she didn't like it that much, but I absolutely loved it. It's a light to medium foundation that looks beautiful on the skin, it doesn't emphasise any texture and it lasts a really long time too.

Repurchase? Yes, I can't wait to repurchase it.

Avon Mark Setting Spray
I've repurchased this quite a few times in the past as it does the job. The spray can be a bit spitty but it doesn't leave dots on top of your makeup. I'm not sure if this exact one is still available or not but I'm still unsure as to whether setting sprays do anything.

Repurchase? No.

W7 Lip Bomb Lip Balm in Strawberry
I enjoyed using this, it made my lips feel moisturised and it was super easy to apply. I've just seen the price of this and I'm pretty sure you can get an egg-shaped lip balm in Savers for around £1 so I'll opt for that instead.

Repurchase? No.
Maybelline Fit Me Matte+Poreless Foundation
Skincare:
Superdrug Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser
I used to swear by this cleanser but it's not as effective as I once knew. You need to use really hot water for this to remove all of your makeup with a flannel and sometimes you'll still be left with excess makeup on your face.

Repurchase? No.

Bio Glow Moisturising 3 in 1 Face Wash
I didn't have very high expectations for this face wash but I thoroughly enjoyed using it. I agree with the claims as it exfoliates lightly, cleanses bare skin and it doesn't leave your skin feeling dry afterwards. It's pretty good for the price but the only annoyance is that it's not as accessible as other face washes, as you can only purchase it online.

Repurchase? Yes, if I'm placing a Fragrance Direct order.

Pixi Rose Tonic* - Review
I'm not the biggest fan of rose scented products but I really loved this one. It's a lovely toner that removes additional makeup, soothes the skin and doesn't make it feel tight or dry afterwards, which most toners tend to do.

Repurchase? Yes, I've already bought a back up for when I finished this one.

Bodycare:
The Body Shop Mango Exfoliating Scrub
I loved this scrub so much! Thanks to the mango seed oil it made my skin feel incredibly soft, you could still smell the scent in the morning too which was lovely. When getting out the shower, after using the scrub, it was really easy to dry your body as the water would just sweep off. I want a huge tub of this!

Repurchase? Yes, definitely!

St Moriz Exfoliating Body Scrub
I didn't use this to remove tan or in preparation for tanning but just as a normal body exfoliator. It is a very light exfoliator, I'm not sure how it would work on harder/drier skin as it's more of a gel than a scrub.

Repurchase? No.

The Body Shop Vanilla Marshmallow Body Butter
Anything vanilla scented I love, it's such a soft sweet scent that the morning after you can still smell it on your body. It absorbs into the skin nicely and does what most body butters do which is make your skin feel super soft.

Repurchase? Maybe if it's in the winter/Christmas collection next year.

I always use soap every day in the shower and most of them leave my skin feeling super dry and rough. But, this one doesn't, it leaves you feeling soft and smelling of mangos. It also lasts for ages!

Repurchase? Maybe, if it's on offer.

Other:
Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge
Both this and my beauty blender had these ink like marks all over them and I have no idea how or why as I don't store them near any pens. I already have a back up of this sponge which I will use but then I probably won't repurchase it again as I'm loving the Essence sponge at the moment.

Repurchase? No.

The Original Beauty Blender
At the time, this cost me an arm and a leg I remember saving up for it and then taking the plunge on Beauty Bay after hearing so many rave reviews. It was a good sponge, it lasted quite a few years too but now it's a bit battered and had its time.

Repurchase? No, I've found better and cheaper.

Yankee Candle Small Jar in Icy Blue Spruce
Icy blue spruce is quite a soft scent, it's not overpowering at all, which I quite like. I think this was from the Christmas range last year, but it seems as if you can still purchase it which is good. I know it's a small jar but I found it burnt really quickly and I don't light candles very often.

Repurchase? Maybe, but I'd choose a larger jar.

Those are all of the products that I've used up recently. What products have you finished up and have you tried any of these before? Thanks for reading,
