I'd never actually tried anything from Gerard Cosmetics before so, I was intrigued as to whether this was going to be a good purchase or not at £9.50. The packaging is beautiful with the frosted glass alongside the gold detailing it leaves you feeling as if you'd just bought a £40 liquid lipstick. The delivery from Beauty Bay was super fast which was brilliant as I was extremely excited to open up my parcel to then instantly swatch the liquid lipstick onto the back of my hand.
I fell in love! Iced mocha is very similar to MAC's stone lipstick which was sadly sitting on my wishlist for ridiculously ages. If you're unfamiliar with stone it's a cool toned nude with grey undertones; it looks incredible on paler complexions.
When applied onto the lips it is very smooth, not sticky nor drying whilst leaving a pure matte finish on your lips, it looks incredibly gorgeous! I felt like the iced mocha queen. Considering it's matte and not drying on the lips this is a huge positive about this liquid lipstick compared to others. Not only is the consistency amazing but when eating and drinking throughout the day it was unstoppable; the lipstick only began to show signs of wear after 4-5 hours in the middle of my lips. When it reached the 6 and a half hours stage it was near enough the end of the lipstick's longevity test.
Overall I'm so pleased with this Gerard Cosmetics' liquid lipstick and I hopefully will pick some more up in the future. Have you tried this one and what's your favourite liquid lipstick? Thanks for reading.
