Recent Beauty Buys&First Impressions

Going on a little splurge felt good after a long time of not spending any money on beauty products; it was well overdue. It was getting to the point where I was getting upset over other people posting about new in products but I stayed strong and got through the drought!

I think it's fair to say that everyone in the UK is feeling the full benefit of NYX arriving in numerous Boots stores around the country, so of course, I had to go and find a Boots store which had a stand in! I only picked up a couple of products, as I wasn't in desperate need of anything else, and I'd only really heard good things about the majority of their lip products. Do their lip creams, butters and suedes ring a bell?
NYX Liquid Suede in Soft Spoken-£6.50
I had my fair share of time swatching quite a few of their lip products and it took me a while to decide on which one I was going to get as there are so many! In the end, I settled for this beautiful, warm nude with brown undertones. I'm in love with this shade!

NYX Retractable lip liner in Nude-£5.50

To match the lipstick I also got their lip liner which is a typical nude as you could guess from the name. This is such a wearable nude, whether it's by itself or as a base for a lipstick to go on top of. I really want to purchase some more NYX products soon, especially their lip ones, I'm hoping that a stand will come into a store near me soon.

Morphe 35T Palette-£17.63

I've got one Morphe single eye shadow and I'm in love with the formula of it; it's incredible, that's why I wanted to expand my collection. When I saw that they had this palette full of cool tones, purples, nudes and golds I was in awe. The pigmentation is out of this world alongside the colour range and creaminess of these shadows. Can we just talk about the pricing of this palette for the amount of shadows you get, absolutely amazing!
Spectrum A12 Pencil Brush-£4.00
I love using this brush to add an inner corner highlighter and fine details to an eye look, especially if I'm doing a cut crease. For £4.00 it's definitely worth the money and the brush design is so pretty.

Victoria Secret Fragrance Mists in Coconut Passion and Pure Seduction-£16.36

Whenever I see a Victoria Secret store I cannot help but go in and sulk at how expensive all of their luxurious items are, however, I got carried away spraying their mists that in the end, I had about 10 paper samples of different mists which I didn't even know what was what. In the end, I picked up coconut passion which reminds me of a desert island in the Summer. Whilst pure seduction is a sexy, fruity scent. They're both exquisite!

Body Shop Spa Fit Body Scrub-£14.00

At first, I purchased this intending to give it as a lovely gift for someone but then I realised that no-one I knew would appreciate it as much as I would so I kept it for myself; how selfish! I love the packaging in which this scrub comes in, a translucent jar, as it's very unique and would look lovely on a shelf or table. The exfoliator itself is scented as a fresh combination of honey and citrus fruits, whilst having a runny consistency, I'm intrigued to use it more.

All of the items which I've purchased I'm adoring using, they're all so handy and beautiful. Have you bought anything recently and what NYX products would you recommend to me?
 Thanks for reading.
