Upping My Skincare Routine

I would have been embarrassed to show you my skincare routine over the past couple of months; it has been appalling. However, I had to make a change, I've added new products in and upped my skincare routine to suit my skin and slowly but surely my skin has been loving me for it.
Upping My Skincare Routine
NSPA Hot Cloth Polish*
I've been using this cleanser consistently every day since November, which was a long time ago! It's a thick, creamy cleanser which has a couple of vital ingredients such as cocoa butter and oils, these not only help to remove the make-up but at the same time, they don't dehydrate your skin in the process. I love how soothing this is on the skin especially used in conjunction with a muslin cloth or flannel. This hot cloth polish comes with a thin muslin cloth, nearly identical to the one that Liz Earle produces except this is for a portion of the price!

Monu Micro Exfoliant

Exfoliating should be done one to two times a week depending on what your skin type is. This exfoliator has very fine beads in which removes the dead skin which is on the surface of my skin, I target my problematic areas the most, this makes my skin feel very soft, smooth and flake free.

NSPA Skin Glow Mud Mask*

Although masks aren't my favourite things to do as they are time-consuming this one is ideal for those of you who have a busy lifestyle like myself. This mud mask drys within minutes it's mesmerising, that's why I love it so much. When it's drying it shows your open pores and problematic areas at the same time as absorbing the excess oil which is on your skin. It's incredible!

NSPA Deep Hydrating Facial Oil*

Whether you've got oily or dry skin, no matter what your skin is it will thank you later for applying oil as it's a form of hydration. If you do have oily skin you may be concerned that adding oil onto your skin, on top of oil, isn't going to benefit you but it will in proportion. I've got combination skin and adding this oil aids the plumpness, softness and hydration to my skin which is needed.

Lush Tea Tree Toner-Post

After neglecting this toner for a while, I'm unsure why as I've found my love for it again. As it's infused with tea tree oil this combats any spots which you may have on your skin; it's perfect for those with combination, oily or acne-prone skin. It's really refreshing to spray on your face after you've cleansed, it leaves your skin feel fresh and clean.

Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion

I was surprised when I first used this as it has a very thin consistency which is the complete opposite to the acne cream below. Not only is it very thin but it works at aiding the healing and prevention of spots due to the tea tree oil inside the product. This is the key ingredient for combating spots which is why this lotion does a great job at clearing your skin.

Acne Ultra Clear Cream*-Post

This thick, smelly spot cream has been my holy grail since I got it. It diminishes the size of spots within a couple of days alongside reducing any spots from appearing in the future.

Nivea Pure and Natural Moisturiser

Recently I picked this up as I was in desperate need of a moisturiser. It's a very smooth consistency as well as being highly hydrating for my skin. It adds that extra moisture which gives my skin its plump feel but doesn't leave it feeling greasy.

It's ever so important to have a skincare routine which is why I was determined to up mine. What products do you use for your skin and what are your holy grail skincare items?
 Thanks for reading.
