Project Pan: 10 To Finish In 2017 Update #1&2

Two months ago I took upon the challenge of picking ten products that I wanted to pan. Two months later, I am here with an update as to how I am getting on with everything: whether I've made any progress, not used a product or if I've nearly achieved my goal.
Project Pan: 10 To Finish In 2017 Update #1&2

I must say it's a lot easier than it looks this whole project panning business; don't be fooled! I've noticed that I'm finding myself getting bored of products so quickly as I'm trying to use them daily, plus it definitely gives you a good idea as to what products you like and dislike. If you want to see what the products looked like at the start of the project, the comparison to this update and before and my reasoning behind why I'm trying to pan them then be sure to read my Project Pan: 10 To Finish In 2017 post.

Benefit POREfessional Pro Balm Primer-Review £26.00

I'm fairly impressed by the progress I have made on this primer. It is only a mini primer but it has lasted me quite a long time considering it only has around a third left. This is an easy product to use up as I do tend to use it daily so I do get my good use out of it.

Barry M Flawless Colour Correcting Primer-Review £5.99

I don't understand how I can make a ridiculous amount of progress on the Benefit primer yet I haven't made half as much progress on this one. I do find that applying this can be a bit of a chore, I tend to use it on areas that don't even have much redness so in all honesty it isn't doing a lot for me and my makeup routine but I'm using it regardless.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer £5.49

I don't like this concealer on a good day although, do you remember the heat wave we had a while ago because this came in handy for those days where I wanted little to no makeup on. Each time I use it I continually find myself scraping the sides of the tube to try and get some concealer out so I'm hoping this is nearly finished, not that you can tell from the photos. You'll have to take my word for it on this one.

MAC Pro Longwear Concealer-Review £18.00

This concealer is an odd one for me because I try to use it daily however, I don't tend to see much of a difference in the level of concealer left in the tube. But, if you look at the photo of it at the start of the pan compared to now you do a see an actual difference. I can definitely see myself finishing this before the end of the year as there isn't much left.

Freedom Pro Blush in Angelica

I'm quite impressed by the progress I have seen on this blush, by no means have I hit pan on it but I have made the writing on top disappear as well as made a tiny dip in the blusher. I feel like the reason for it being such an easy product to use up is because it kicks up so much product, helping me on the way to get this done and dusted.

Technic Highlights Highlighter-Review £2.99

This started off as one of those that I was determined to get finished and throw out as quick as possible but my hatred has continued to grow with this product. I have tried to use this as a base underneath foundation when I first started but then it was making my skin feel claustrophobic, sticky and cakey that I then took to using it on top of my foundation which I'm again not too fond of. Therefore, I have made a little and I mean the tiniest progress on this highlight.

Maybelline New York Brow Drama Sculpting Brow Mascara £4.99
To be honest with you I completely forgot that this was in my project pan and I mean completely forgot until about a week or two ago when it suddenly clicked in my head. So as you can probably guess I haven't made any drastic improvements on this brow mascara but I'm hoping to get a lot more use out of it by the next time I update you all.

Avon True Colour Glimmerstick Eyeliner in Brighten Up Pink £6.00

Ok. Are you ready for this? You are going to be so proud of me. I have made outstanding progress on this eyeliner. I find myself using this every day, regardless as to whether I'm wearing a face of makeup or not, it just works. I'm beginning to find that I generally do like this glimmerstick, even though the colour isn't my favourite, I do really like using it. This has to be one of the ones where I have made quite a bit, if not one of the most progress on.

Rimmel London Colour Rush Balm in Keep Mauving £5.99

I must admit this is a complete fail, one big humongous fail. I cannot bring myself to use it, ever! There is nothing appealing about it, to me, any more and the thought of using it just makes my skin crawl. I don't think I've used it more than five times, at a push, but that does mean I've had the chance to work on the other lip product in this pan.

Rimmel London Lasting Finish Kate Moss Lipstick in 105-Review

Lipsticks take far longer than I thought to use up! I have been opting for it over the colour rush balm meaning I have got far more use out of this one. I have noticed that I've made a slight bit of progress over these past two months, nothing major but you can tell a difference from the measurements in my book.
Project Pan: 10 To Finish In 2017 Update #1&2
As you can see from the images there are now three lines on all of the products, if you look at my previous post you'll be able to work out which line I started this project pan at and then you'll be able to notice where I am at now. It's fair to say some products I've made next to no progress but others have been working a treat. Are there any products here that you think I will finish or not? Have you done a project pan before and how well did it go? Thanks for reading.
