3 New Drugstore Makeup Purchases

Can you believe that I haven't purchased any makeup in just over three months now? I mean, that's a pretty long time considering the number of new launches that have been popping up all over the place!
3 New Drugstore Makeup Purchases
However, I recently went into Boots and got tempted in by a 3 for 2 offer. I knew I already wanted to pick up one of the items so it was just a case of choosing what two other products I was going to purchase.

Maybelline Tattoo Eyebrow Easy Peel Off Tint £12.99
I tint my eyebrows every now and again at home by myself but when I saw this advertised on the television I thought it was quite an innovative idea by Maybelline. I've only tested it out once so far and I found it really easy to apply with the brush and then I left it on for the suggested two hours for the three-day long wear. I did feel very peculiar walking around the house with the tint on my brows for so long, especially with the builders popping in and out every so often! Once the time was up I peeled off the tint, it was fairly easy to remove, it came off in a couple of pieces, but you could instantly see a major difference. It is such a strange concept and I would do it again if I had an event the next day. I just feel like a proper tinting kit is better value for money as it lasts a lot longer, but saying that this is much more fun!

Maybelline Dream Cushion Liquid Foundation £13.99
Ever since I finished my cushion foundation by L'Oreal I've had a part of me missing as my foundation collection just hasn't been the same since. But, saying that, this foundation is so far fitting in perfectly. It looks flawless on my skin, it gives me a medium coverage that's buildable and a little goes a long way with it. It blends easily and powders go on top of it nicely, it also doesn't emphasize my pores and my skin looks really smooth. I've found that it lasts for around six hours on the skin before I notice my nose becoming an oil sick. This is definitely a contender for my favourite foundation in my collection at the moment.

Collection Highlight and Sculpt Contour Kit £4.19
If you are looking for a brilliant yet bargain find contour kit then look no further. This slim, basic packaged contour kit is great for travelling and storing, it does have a mirror in it but it's incredibly tiny and long length which is pretty useless in my opinion. However, the product itself is wonderful, the pans are huge meaning you get a lot of product for the price that you pay. The contour shade is perfect for my pale complexion it isn't orange so it warms up the skin nicely whilst giving the illusion of shadow. As for the highlight, it's a creamy powder which gives a pearly sheen to the skin, it comes across quite natural as it doesn't contain any glitter particles in it but saying that it looks amazing on.
