Pixi Eye Reflection Shadow Palettes Review+Swatches

Pixi do some of my favourite makeup and skincare products, I am yet to find a product that I am a bit 'meh' about, I seem to love them all! So when I saw that they came out with a few new eyeshadow palettes to add to their collection I couldn't help but instantly want to swatch them.

Natural Beauty

Pixi Eye Reflection Shadow Palette in Natural Beauty
Swatches left to right: Sheer Sand, Metal Mauve, Petal, Antique Rose, Rose Clay, Metallic Rose, Deep Taupe, Foiled Bronze, Soft Brown, Chocolate Brown, Cocoa Shimmer and Bronze Gleam.
Both palettes are absolutely gorgeous, as you can tell from the swatches and the overall look of the palette reflex light* is all metallic and shimmers whereas natural beauty* is a mixture of mattes, shimmers and foiled metallics which is great for an all-around everyday palette. So dependant as to whether you've got other palettes with mattes in or you are just looking for one palette with everything in will determine if you would want both, one or the other.

Within the two palettes, there are a couple of shades that are very similar to each other, for example,  Foiled Bronze and Brilliant Bronze, Vanilla Glitz and Petal, although Cocoa Glaze and Bronze Gleam look identical in the pan they are quite different once swatched and on the eye.

I also found that the mattes are a little less pigmented than the shimmers but only by a touch. The shadows are really soft and silky to swatch, especially when applying a shimmer to the lid with your finger, plus they are easy to blend. My favourite thing to do is apply a shimmer with a big fluffy blending brush all over the lid for an all over shimmery swash effect.

Which one out of the two is your favourite? I would have to say natural beauty is mine as I can see myself using it a lot! Have you tried these eyeshadow palettes out already or are they next on your wishlist? Do you love the shades in these palettes as much as I do? Thanks for reading.
