In summer the last thing I want to be doing is checking my makeup hasn't slid off my face every two seconds, so I always opt for natural and lightweight makeup.
Benefit Sun Beam Highlighter £22.00
Before I go ahead and apply my foundation I apply this all over my face. It's a gorgeous golden highlighter that works great as a base, which I blend out with my fingers, and it gives a sunkissed golden glow to your skin, perfect for summer. I can't seem to find this anywhere online, all the sites I've browsed on it seems to be out of stock which is quite peculiar, I hope they haven't discontinued it.
Essence #Insta Perfect Liquid Makeup* £4.50 - Review
This is my go-to for when I want a light coverage base, one that is going to even out my skin tone. It's super lightweight and it makes your skin look poreless and really smooth. Every product I use on top of it blends perfectly fine as well.
Max Factor Creme Bronzer in 05 Light Gold £9.99
This bronzer is quite unique as it's incredibly soft and creamy but it blends like a powder. It's fairly warm toned with gold shimmer running throughout and it's buildable. The gold shimmers in it really help to blend the bronzer and the highlight together in this look.
Tarte Amazonian Clay Highlighter in Exposed £25.00
If there was such a thing as a summer highlight then this would be it, for me. It's a gorgeous golden highlight, it does have visible glitter in it but with the right brush, you can really buff it into the skin. It smells amazing and it looks incredible when the sun hits, especially when you have a tan!
Model Co Lip Gloss in Biz - Review
To finish off the look I always go in with this gloss. It is a your lips but better type of shade with a beautiful sheen. It's really comfortable on the lips and of course natural and rosy, I love wearing it in the summer as I know I won't be catching my hair in it every second!
When it comes to eyeshadow I just pop a bit of the bronzer through my crease to add a touch of definition to the area. I don't apply any sort of mascara as I find in the heat they all smudge on me and my cheeks are naturally quite flushed so I don't need to apply any blusher. What sort of makeup do you do for the summer months? Do you opt for something quite natural or do you do a full face regardless? Thanks for reading,
