I've got a few new products in my collection which I am currently testing out including a few skincare items and the rest being makeup. Here are my initial first thoughts of testing them all out.
Milk Makeup Watermelon Brightening Serum £12.00
I've been using this daily for the past few weeks after I purchased it back in December. It's only a mini but I quite like applying it and then going straight in with moisturiser as it makes your skin look dewy. The one thing I have noticed is that it isn't very hydrating on the skin, but at the same time, it doesn't claim to be!
Makeup Revolution Pro Full Coverage Camouflage Foundation in F1 £7.00
After using this foundation a couple of times now it's fair to say that this foundation isn't lying when it says full coverage! It is very thick when you first squeeze it out of the tube but it is easy enough to blend and it does last throughout the day giving you a matte finish. The finish isn't my prefered choice but so far it does everything it says.
Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Gloss £9.00
At first, I didn't realise that this wasn't a normal lip gloss until I put it on my lips. I have the shades Bare Enough and Nude Star which are both beautifully natural shades but I really dislike the formula. It stings and tingles your lips like crazy and I thought after a while it would stop but it didn't. It's not enjoyable at all and I wish these were normal lip glosses.
Rimmel London Insta Duo Contour Stick in Light £6.99
On the few occasions which I have used this, I have really liked it. It blends nicely on top of foundation and it looks really natural on the skin. The contour shaded is perfect for my complexion and it doesn't look orange at all which is great! I haven't used the highlighting side of this contour stick yet but I will keep you updated on that.
Nivea 1 Minute Urban Skin Detox Mask Moisturise* £7.95
I received this at Christmas and have only recently started using it. At this time of year, my skin needs as much moisture as it can get so this mask is great for adding that extra boost before I go in with my moisturer in the evening. The times that I've used this I have washed the excess off, when actually this mask is designed to be massaged in afterwards; so when I remember to do that I'll let you know the difference as I'm sure it'll lock in the moisture even more.
Those are all of the products which I am currently testing. Have you used any of these before and what products are you currently testing out? Thanks for reading,
