My Thoughts
From the very beginning of this book, I loved Lindsey's writing style. It made the book extremely easy to read and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Within the first paragraph, you could sense that something wasn't quite right between Angela and her husband Mark. I instantly connected with Angela and felt incredibly sorry for what she had to find out at her best friend's wedding, especially since her friends were all involved in it! I would have cut them all out of my life almost instantly just like Angela, although I probably wouldn't have fleed to another country!

As the story developed we saw Angela fly to New York to start afresh where she stays at a hotel. Fortunately, this is where she meets her NBF who is a lovely worker at the hotel, who is more than willing to show Angela around the city with the aim to get Angela's mojo back. This includes her NBF encouraging her to date multiple men allowing her to find her love for men as she just thinks they are all rubbish, like Mark, starting a new job venture where she writes for a blog and has the best time of her life.

Angela bumped into a couple of men who lead completely different lives and went on various dates with them both. As a reader, I was picking sides with the bloke I wanted Angela to date and eventually get with, I was thoroughly involved in her life! Time was running out and Angela had to make a decision on whether she wanted to stay in the city or return home back to reality which once was..!
